Someone.Somewhere.OutThere.

DIY Topshop short. Random Pagoda-Eagle brand T-shirt(For those who know what Grandpa shirts are, that's the one). Cotton On sequins blazer. Topshop Wisteria wedges. Eclipse floppy hat. DIY fur bag , Label- Blumarine. Ring from F21.

I did it again! This time I blame it on the poster hovering over the counter in Pavilion Topshop, taunting and daring me to make this shorts. Since I don't know when this pants will arrive or if it has already came and went but I just gotta have it, denim with a kiss of feminine frilly lace trimmings(Will show you a close up the next time I wear it!). Well, it sure hurts like hell to stitch them on, cause I had to do it by hand, but totally worth it. Now I'll have to look for another pair of shorts and use white trimmings instead. xxx

Shortie's Birthday

Today I turn the big two-six. So please understand I don't have much time to hang around to make an outfit post but since it's my first birthday here with all my "itsnotalwaysaboutheight" lovers(hopefully, many more to come! ), so i want to share with you a picture of myself back in my younger, naive, carefree, happier days! This photo has gotta be at least 5 years old. Okay now, lovers... I'm going out for Korean dinner with my family! Have a marvelous weekend! Ciao.. xxx

StickOutLikeASoreThumb

Zara fluorescent yellow top. No brand orange tube worn as skirt. DIY white MickeyMouse tank. Shades & wedges from Taiwan. Bangles & bracelet from H&M/KL. Necklace from Boulevard-SG, Parisian label - Clash.

Time to break some rules by putting together an outfit that is far from the "must-wear" fall color palette. Guess I'm getting a little tired of looking at all the different shades of camel and tan tones.
So, this weekend will be my birthday and may I add, fuck I'm old! It'll be my big two six! I use to be one to say meh... Age is overrated, they're just a couple of digits but seriously it's a whole different story when you know that you'll no longer be checking the "18 to 25" but the "26 to 31" age group, it's sucks! Especially when I still feels like a 17, is it a bad thing that I still wanna check the "18 and below" just because I think I'm 17? Gosh, now I'm starting to sound like some mad bag lady! Nuff of my crazy talk, now to the good news, I'm celebrating my birthday by treating myself to a Herve leger! YAY...! This will definitely make me an extremely happy 26! xxx

AGirlCanDream

Old U2 white shirt. Zara knit dress. Mum's leather weave belt. Vintage bolo tie. Gray thigh high from Sox world. Topshop wisteria wedges. DIY headband.

Please don't mind the 3rd picture, I know it's lame and posey too but it's the only one of my front profile. So, it's been gloomy these past couple of days, waking up to the sound of rain has been hell for me. However, I did jumped at this opportunity to create my Fall-ish ensemble(fyi, we only have summer throughout the year), so I braved the heat and layered knits over a shirt, which is totally enough to cause one to have a heatstroke on normal days. And oh yes, I've been on a bit of a shoe craze lately and this is my new pair of Wisteria, unbelievably comfortable despite it's height. Now I will just have to wait to be united with my JC Lita which has already arrived in Singapore awaiting for me to pick them up! So close yet so far...! But I am excited... Weee!!

BangBang!BabyShotMeDown

Spandax draped top from T by A.Wang. AA Sheer black dress. Biker tights from morning market. Socks from Uniqlo. Shearling lace-up ankle boots from PedderRed. Layers of chainlink necklace from random vendors in KL. Rings from F21. A.Wang wannabe shades coming soon to blogshop.

So, the pros and cons of blogging, you tend to notice ALOT of changes in yourself after comparing old posts to new ones. Things I notice, I look less stiff compared to before, my photog is getting way better at this whole thing(much love), my hair is longer(wanna grow them out, I'm considering her hair do in platinum blonde or gray.) and oh boy, I am seriously getting thicker, look at this post where I am wearing the exact same top. Someone say barrel? Yikes, dear god! Why would you make delicious food and punish us after for indulging them! Now, I am sorta relieve our hols season is finally over, hols give me plenty of time to cook which eventually leads to gluttony. Need.To.Stick.To.Strict.Diet.Regime. My sister's wedding in Bali is in 1 1/2 months; Bikini time! *Fingers crossed* Now you lovers, have a great weekend, I'm gonna go prepare some bratwursts for dinner, see what I mean?!?! xxx

BlackPlastic

Dude&Dutchess dress. Hat from Four Skin-SG. House of Holland tights. Aldo shoes. Blumarine bag turn oversize clutch. Rings from F21/Kenneth Jay Lane.

This is a very old bag with some tacky gold handle adorned with gold gemstone which totally needs some nip/tuck before I can use it again, not gonna throw away a perfectly good bag especially when it's not faux fur, it's actually rabbit fur! Cruel, I know! But how can you say no to soft fluffy thing! Besides, leopard bags are gonna be huge this fall, so why not improvise and make myself an oversize clutch. It's a can be a little clumsy cause of the size and it's super soft, but it's worth it. Now all I need is a sturdy leather strap to turn it into a shoulder bag. xxx

BohemianRhapsody

Zara floral chiffon top. True Religion flare jeans. Brother's leather weave belt. Aldo Shoes. DIY feather headband coming soon to blogshop. Bangles & cuffs from H&M/Topshop/thrifted. Ring from F21.

Over the weekend I came up with a couple of DIYs (whilst catching up on all the latest and juiciest NYFW updates from Twitter) to put up in my blogshop(Sorry for the uber delay but the freaking credit card is taking too damn long to come through, farking bank, heard of efficiency??) btw, this headband is one of it. I fell in love with the long feather but realize it would be an inconvenience to wear as earring, so this is what I came up with, it still hang from behind one ear and looks like an earring, meh.. you get the idea. =)
Boy am I stoked to see Rumi
sporting a similar feather headband as the one I DIY earlier, I wonder where she got her's. Okay lovers, I'm gonna go scream at someone from the bank now! Ciao... xxx

IdeasDoNotBleed.TheyDoNotFeelPain.TheyDoNotLove.

Lover's shirt and tie. House of Holland tights. Charles & Keith shoes with DIY chains. Floppy wool hat from Eclipse. Necklace worn as bracelets and cuffs from KL.

This floppy hat is my latest buy, it's made for me cause it's smaller than the usual floppy hats you see and cause of my small frame most floppy hats are too huge for me, so now that I own this, I'm gonna live in it for a while(Great cover up cause I'm trying to grow out my hair and it's everywhere... really!). With all the hypes on Twitterville for NYFW, it's getting me really pumped up too hence having the urge to pack my clothes and hop onto the next cab to the airport for nothing... Alright, now I'm gonna go lie down and weep! However, I will be following my twitter religiously from now on for the latest updates! Ciao.. xxx

P.S. To all my Muslim readers, Selamat Hari Raya and have an awesome weekend!

TooLittleTooLate

Mum's top worn backwards. Pant from Taiwan. Club Monaco scarf worn as headband. Necklaces from random vendor in KL. Charles & Keith shoes.

I may be a little obsessed with my mum's wardrobe but seriously it is a lot of fun getting creative with oversize clothing to create something unexpected. Like this top, I love how the back drapes when I am sitting down, makes a gorgeous bareback top. So, this is the new shoe I mentioned in the earlier post, my very first Charles & Keith. Seeing how I usually go to Topshop, Aldo and recently Solestruck to score a 5' fix, I've decided to give other more economical brands a try cause it seems like they've finally figured out what "high" in high heel stands for, yes.. It's exactly what it says, high and not some 3', so kudos! This is also perfect cause I am broke and needed a pair of neutral tone shoe, so considering the price I would say it's a good buy. I did make some changes on them tho, which will be in my next post. xxx

Linen.Sequins.Prints.

Very old linen tunic from Esprit. H&M skirt. DIY leopard prints headband. Aldo heels. Necklace from random store in KL. Bracelets from HK/SH.

With everyone listing down their must-have Fall staples. I notice sequins are (if ever really gone) making another comeback. So, this is what I paired it with to dress it down a notch, a linen tunic. Seeing how there is no way in hell for me to wear shearling jackets or heavy knits, I will have to improvise with what I can wear and has! By the way, I just received news from Solestruck that my Lita's has finally arrived and ready to be shipped on Tuesday...YAY!! All the outfits I have in mind to wear with it! But at the meantime to keep myself happy, I bought a new pair of shoes, yes I may be very broke and no it's never wrong to splurge on something cheap. Which I will wear in the next post. Alright lovers, have a great weekend! xxx
