IfYouSeeSomethingYouLike.TakeItAndMakeItYourOwn.

These are my failed attempt to replicate Sakura for RumiNeely smokey eye make up, I'm guessing you need to have those double eye lids and big round eyes in order to create that look. But I will definitely try it again!Inspired by this editorial.

Top, stolen from brother-Topman. Blazer, HK. Short, topshop. Socks, Uniqlo. Glasses & wedge, Taiwan. Ring and bracelets, Beijing, thrifted & H&M. Bag, vintage-Bally.

So this is the outfit post I've mentioned before, inspired entirely by an editorial done by ELLE Italia April 2010. However,
as many may know by now I don't really wear flats, so I wore my wedge instead of a brogues. Yes, I need my height. xxx

SpringInMyStep

Prada SS07 Inspired

Top, Gap. Jeans, H&M. Shoes, Topshop. Belt, Prada. Turban, random old scarf. Bag, vintage-Bally. Necklace, Taiwan. Bracelets & cuffs, thrifted and H&M.

Turbans are trend that goes as far back as 1920s. This is really the last era when turbans were truly an universal fashion amongst women. Which was later brought back by Prada SS07 collection. I’ve always like the turban look, I find it to be much more sophisticated and chic compared to hats. It is also simple, cause all you need is a scarf, which I’m certain is an accessory that everyone has, works well for short or long hair. Infact, it is a perfect combo to go with loose side braids. Besides, how can you not love a trend that lived longer than you did. xxx

ImDiggingGraySweatPant

Caroline Winberg for ELLE Italia April 2010

I don't see what is there not to like in this collection. Casual, chic, sexy, nerdy, comfortable and lazy all jumbled together to create such an inspiring look. I can foresee myself doing an outfit post very soon inspired entirely by this look. And the best part, it is so simple that it can easily be put together with clothes that you already have in your wardrobe.

Testing.1.2.3

Top, very old tank from Mickey Mouse. Shorts, Levi’s cut off. Wedge, Taiwan. Belt, vintage – Bally. Rings, Shanghai. Bangles and chains, HK, H&M and thrifted. Tights, market place (I took a look at them and saw American Apparel, for less than a quarter of it’s price, got one in white too. It’s too bad that they don’t have it in neon colors.)

Me and my photog decided to test another camera that was sadly collecting dust under a pile of random stuff(Don’t even know what was that pile of stuff was). Reason why we never start off with this camera cause he is not a professional photographer and had no clue bout photography till I started this blog. Yup, very very sweet, big hugs and kisses to him cause without his help this blog would never have happened.

Anyhow, as you can see in the first couple of pictures, he was still trying to get the hang of it, but failing miserably. But he got better near the end, however the sun hasn’t been very kind to us lately hence my fucked up expressions in the last couple of pictures, it was a very hot day and I got impatient. Very Mel of me, heat and Mel don’t do well together. Well, hopefully he will learn to master this camera soon, cause I am totally loving quality of these pictures! xxx

P.S. This is my new ultra-short shorts, not very obvious here cause of the tights, but I will do a post soon with only the shorts, cause it’s ferocious! =P
