This top is another steal of a deal I got from Topshop. The pleats and batwings pretty much say it all. However I think it's suppose to be a cardigan of some sort, but I wore it the other way round and it looks a gazillion times better, agreed? Time to go nurse my horrific hangover! No more wine and beer in the same night! Pffft...! Any super remedy to share? Right lovers, have a marvelous weekend! I know I will, cause it's barbecue night! Weeeeee... xxx

Yes... Yes... Yes... It's yet another new piece added to my already exploding wardrobe but hear me out, so I've been searching for a kimono-esque piece since forever so naturally I was super happy to find this hanging off the 70% discount rack in Topshop, knew I have to get it cause it's mesh(a fabric I can't do without), it looks vintage and it's on 70% discount! Gotten myself a size 8 so it'll look extra slouchy, can't wait to pair them with flare jeans, maxi skirts and denim cut off! The weather has been under the weather lately(lame me.. haha!), one min it's sunny & hot then crazy windy the next, see how it's making my kimono dance..
Updates regarding the giveaway, to make it super special, I will come up with a prototype of the DIY and post pictures of ways to wear it before 5th Mar 2011(the day my blog turns 1) =D, then on the day itself after I pick a winner, the winner will get to choose the color of the feathers themselves! Isn't obvious how bad I've been recently? With all the new items added to my wardrobe, it can only mean one thing, I've been shopping! Buying things that my bank and wallet can't afford. *Bonks myself on the noggin* But how can one say no to maxi skirts? Fyi, I've been donning a lot of maxi skirts, so can you imagine how stoked I was when I came face to face with this brocade slightly fishtail maxi skirt. It was love at first sight. They're pretty neat, don't you agree? As for the give away, I've decided to get creative and come up with something completely new, something that can be worn as a headband,necklace or a pants accessory. Wish me luck in pulling this off! xxx

Yesterday was the last day of Lunar New Year, time flies when you are having fun(Well, for my case it was busy then lots of fun!). Before I know it, "I" is about to turn one! My very own baby that has grown from zero follower to now 128 followers, which I am very grateful for. Thank you for bearing with me through all my ups and downs. I wouldn't have made it this far without you lovers and all of your kind supportive words. To show my appreciation, I'm gonna do my very first give-away, most likely something from my own DIY, I'm thinking either feathers earring, this or this feather headband or even something new like a feather necklace, what do you say? This is a new polka dot mini dress I found recently and I think it's perfect for Valentine's day. Pairing it with these yellow tights is like a cherry on top. So, how did you spend the most commercialized day of the year? Haha... Don't get me wrong, I genuinely love all festivals and celebrations but Valentine's Day is slightly overrated, in my opinion V-Day is just an excuse for florists to sell ridiculously priced flowers and for restaurants to serve badly done cold food. Sorry if I sound bitter, don't hate me but I think we should learn to always pamper our love ones everyday and not only on this special occasion. Nonetheless, it's a great feeling to see all the young and old couples looking lovey dovey on this special day!

Happy Lunar New Years, lovers!! To those who celebrates, how did you spend yours? I started mine busy with more work(boohoo, I know).. Now I can gladly say, it is finally over and I can just seat back and relax, my much needed rest with booze and lots of Chinese snacks! Yumz! Get ready to see a fatter me in the next post! =) So tonight's a huge night for those who celebrates Pai tian gong, ahh.. Can't wait for that succulent, roasted whole pork! Alright, lover! I apologize for the absurd disappearance, work got in the way of my usual blogging schedule and it was extremely exhausting having to juggle both life so I had to let go of blogging for half a month, which only made me realize how important you guys are to me. Hopefully things can be back to the norm soon, so get ready to be showered with tons of outfit posts!
