Recently I was given a gift, it is the opportunity to look at my life, myself and the world differently. I have never truly felt this content and happy for a very long time. No, it's not drugs or anything extreme, but it is just an eye opening experience that I feel everyone in the entire world should go through. As scary as this may sound, I can reassure you, it's safe! This top/dress is a lovely new addition to my already exploding wardrobe, but when I saw this top for 70% off and may I add, it is a Topshop size 12, I'm usually a 4...!! It instantly inspired me to wanna have it shredded, chop off the sleeve and I don't know... Sky's the limit for me here! This is the last post I have of my poor baby aviator seating crookedly on the shelf waiting for me to her to the nearest optical store to get checked out.All because I stupidly hit my noggin on the roof of a car with my aviator on my head!! Bending it completely out of shape. Hopefully the glasses doctors can magically give her back her shape. The irony of the whole thing is that I didn't know I was so tall! Well, I have just tested out a pretty amazing egg white facial shared by a very lovely Vanessa of The Haute Pursuit. It is surprisingly good, another gift from mother nature. So basically you separate the egg yolk from the white, one egg will suffice and if you are lucky like myself I got my bf to whip the white till it's frothy then simply apply the white on your face avoiding eye area with a brush (Which I didn't think of at the beginning, silly me). Then let it rest for 15 mins and rinse off with water, no cleansing needed. However, it is still egg white so it'll get little messy, my advice is to hold a towel under your chin. After you rinse it off you'll notice it leaves a rubbery feeling and it's noticeably softer and smoother! It's worth a go, facial that costs less then a few cents... xxx

But work's been hectic and it's taking up my blogging time. Please understand and don't give up on me YET! Well, I was given the opportunity of a lifetime by my lovely hairstylist, Albert Nico to do a shoot for L'Oreal which by the way will be featured in August's Female and Nu You magazine! It may be nothing for most people, but for someone like myself who isn't good under stress and being camera-shy(Yes, I am.. It took me about two months when I first started this blog to feel comfortable with my boyfriend taking pictures of me), the experience was totally mind blowing and in a good way, cause I had no idea it is this hard to be a model, to have everyone's attention focus on you to make sure you deliver your best is freaking-crazily-disgustingly scary! The pressure and stress, I was literally shaking and shaking and shaking, I could have sworn I almost passed out! To all the models out there, I have a whole new level of respect for you. Know that! Alright lovers, remember to stay tune and check me out in August! Hopefully it turns out great! xxx

This is actually a very old top that I knitted a long time ago and was inspired to revamp after reading Alexa Chung's Tweet which I totally adore and the fact that it would be perfect when paired with my silver leggings. A ridiculously good movie to share with you lovers, to anyone who enjoys a good movies like I do. I highly recommend "Three Idiots" but be sure to get one with good subtitles cause it's an indian film hence it is mostly in Tamil. And trust me...This movie is worth the time reading all that subtitles! It has the right balance of humor, romance and tragedy, sure to not disappoint! New tights in the house! Well, I'd say it's a good buy cause up close they are super cute, a perfect piece to incorporate the right amount of bling onto an outfit! Oh and did I mention, they are all sparkly gold stars. By just staring at them already made me happier... And if you look closely, I actually matched them with starry shoelaces that I used to lace up the boots for the cinch paper bag look ala Louis Vuitton Summer 2010 boots, *dreamy* one of my "Willing-kill-for" shoes, it was love at first sight when I first laid eyes on them, so my version is as good as it gets. Since forever I've been searching for something in red leather, a leather jacket, short or long pants,(Btw, I'm still looking for a patent red leggings, do share if you come across something like that!) and to stumble upon this gorgeous real leather skirt, I knew I had to get it even if it's gonna put a rather huge dent to my wallet! Completely overpriced for Zara but evil them probably already know cuckoo people like myself will buy it anyhow.
And look what I have here... Proud to present you this vintage inspired shades ala John Lennon, I was so stoked when I saw these babies.. But honestly with only one pair of eyes, I don't know how am I gonna wear all these shades! Must be a girl thing cause we can never get enough of something, especially when it's this gooood. A quick post before I head out to run some errands. This was what I wore last Saturday to this nice little french restaurant with one the most amazing foie gras I've tasted since Paris, just the thought is making me drool.
So, this is the legen "wait for it....." dary (Hehe.. Much love to Barney) shoes I mentioned in my earlier post, they are 6" tall but surprisingly comfortable due to the platform! Hey lovers, I know I've been MIA and neglecting my blog, it was due to some health issues and random other things that came up but don't give up on me just yet. Hey lovers, I apologize for the lack of post because over the weekends I spent some quality time in Singapore with my dearest family (which is obvious if you have my Twitter) which was blissful and exactly what we needed. The news of Japan's nuclear meltdown should be a wake up call for everyone, due to the uncertainty of life we should remind ourselves to love and appreciate our loved ones now more than ever.
So, this is my new hair color, by all means it's a little blah but my hair could no longer withstand another bleaching process so I had to resort to this, it is pretty interesting under broad daylight, the color resembles a feather duster. Haha! Alright lovers, hopefully I can get a better tan(I am slightly tanner in these pics, damn the bad lighting) over the weekend, me and the dearest family is checking into a suite! Couldn't love them more.. The anticipation is killing me! Ciao..! xxx

Greeting my lovelies! Miss me much? I'm feeling fresher than ever hence the need to post my close-to-bare face(only tinted sunblock and eye brow pencil, true story) to start off "I" one year old, I usually use quite a bit of make up but I thought meh.. Why not try something different this time, scary? Hahaha! So, over the weekend to celebrate baby blog's birthday, me and my beloved photographer aka boyfriend (huge XOXOs to him, cause without him, this blog wouldn't happen) treated our self to 2 bottles of red wine and shared 3 portion of steaks! Crazy! I know.. But it was all worthwhile.

In merely 3 days(or 4 depending on where you are from) my baby, "I" is gonna turn 1. So, this is the DIY piece I've mentioned earlier, it's a give-away to show my appreciation for all the kind support and comments I have received over the year (To those who are confused,just backtrack a couple of posts and you'll understand this give-away better).
So this is the prototype, as you can see in the first picture, I used a long white feather on one end and two shorter black & red ones on the other(I'm tacky that way) whereas the long orange and shorter light brown are other options for you to choose from if you would prefer to replace the colors. This is a very special moment for me therefore I will try my very best to make this giveaway super special for you too!

Good news for you and myself, I finally finished making the accessory(phew) and I promise to post pictures soon! I found 6 different ways to wear them, as a short necklace, super long necklace, headband, hip belt, denim accessory or even as a hair tie! Yes... Yes... Yes... It's yet another new piece added to my already exploding wardrobe but hear me out, so I've been searching for a kimono-esque piece since forever so naturally I was super happy to find this hanging off the 70% discount rack in Topshop, knew I have to get it cause it's mesh(a fabric I can't do without), it looks vintage and it's on 70% discount! Gotten myself a size 8 so it'll look extra slouchy, can't wait to pair them with flare jeans, maxi skirts and denim cut off! The weather has been under the weather lately(lame me.. haha!), one min it's sunny & hot then crazy windy the next, see how it's making my kimono dance..

Isn't obvious how bad I've been recently? With all the new items added to my wardrobe, it can only mean one thing, I've been shopping! Buying things that my bank and wallet can't afford. *Bonks myself on the noggin* But how can one say no to maxi skirts? Fyi, I've been donning a lot of maxi skirts, so can you imagine how stoked I was when I came face to face with this brocade slightly fishtail maxi skirt. It was love at first sight. They're pretty neat, don't you agree? As for the give away, I've decided to get creative and come up with something completely new, something that can be worn as a headband,necklace or a pants accessory. Yesterday was the last day of Lunar New Year, time flies when you are having fun(Well, for my case it was busy then lots of fun!). Before I know it, "I" is about to turn one! This is a new polka dot mini dress I found recently and I think it's perfect for Valentine's day. Pairing it with these yellow tights is like a cherry on top. So, how did you spend the most commercialized day of the year? Haha... Don't get me wrong, I genuinely love all festivals and celebrations but Valentine's Day is slightly overrated, in my opinion V-Day is just an excuse for florists to sell ridiculously priced flowers and for restaurants to serve badly done cold food. Sorry if I sound bitter, don't hate me but I think we should learn to always pamper our love ones everyday and not only on this special occasion. Nonetheless, it's a great feeling to see all the young and old couples looking lovey dovey on this special day!

These are the very same pant I wore here. Well, I hiked it up and fastened it with a tiny belt, for the paperbag cinched waist. So, thanks to Asos.. I will be living in this ugly bra for a very long time, it's soft satin, with absolutely no support granny bra, how can you say no to that.. and it's the perfect undergarment for mesh pieces, atleast I think so. Finally, all my Asos parcels arrived and they are a tad too large for me. However to my surprise, the quality is pretty alright, so I happily skipped my way down to my reliable tailor and have everything altered to my size. Oh I can't wait to wear them!
Yesterday,I got into a "guys will never understand girls" discussion with my love, it started when I said I have nothing to wear for a friend's wedding, then he gave me a puzzled look and said "but you recently bought plenty of new clothes". Which is exactly the problem, I asked him if he have ever heard of the saying "less is more and more is always less if not none(imo)". So I proceed to explain myself, if someone has only a limited amount of clothing, they won't have to think of what to wear hence always having something to wear. It's because now I have so many new clothes which leads to not knowing which to wear first hence nothing to wear.. Get it? Haha! I'm sure many of you ladies experienced it at some point in life! I ain't complaining cause having "nothing" to wear is definitely better! xxx

Finally found my ideal tutu skirt that I absolutely love! Everytime I put on something with so much fabric to play with, especially when it's made puffy, I tend to walk with an extra bounce in my steps! Must be my lucky day when I bought this cause it's out of stock almost right after I added the last size 4 to my bag, think I snatched the last piece? Oh and this is my first time wearing make up from Urban Decay (Christmas gift from sister), it may too shiny for Asian skin tone, they made my eyes appear puffy.. I don't know, still experimenting with it, for those on my Twitter would have seen the box, it's quite a huge one! Thanks sis! You may be wondering what kind of crazy color my hair is, I honestly don't know, it's faded to a shade of light orange, pink, white and brown.. If you know the name of the color, do share!

The day that we have all been waiting for is TWO, yes.. TWO days away, I can't begin to tell you how excited I am! It's amazing how the same top can look so different when it's worn backwards. I guess those awkwardly high neck line gives the whole look a Victorian vibe which I love.
So, who is super duper excited that Christmas is only four days away? *Both hands flailing in the air* Haha.. Overly excited, I know.. Christmas brings out cuckoo kid in me! According to most people, this is by far the craziest hair color they have seen on me and I thought nothing's gonna top my platinum white phase. Guess I was wrong... The color actually freaked me out a little when I saw my stylist slapping them on. That bright orange was suppose to be a copperish tone(on normal hair color, I guess), but my previous hair color was too white(or so to speak) so the orange pigment just stuck on like glue, but meh... It's starting to grow on me and I think it's pretty nice as long as I keep my face plain and simple, no pink lips for the time being. So here is the crazy awesome two tone shades I tweeted earlier this week, which was customize from my nerd glasses. This has got to be one of my finest idea! Now I'm in love! Ahh... and this pair of super duper old glitter shoe, if memory serves me right, this is my first pair of Melissa shoe, in fact during last year's pre-cny cleaning, I almost threw them away which now I thank god I did not, seeing how glitter is making such a huge comeback, or maybe it's just me, sparkly Christmas ornaments tend to do something to me. This top has got to be one of the baddest thing I own and it's from Bali which I absolutely love, so this is where all the designer's been hiding out! Hmm... So this fluorescent beads with tooth necklace is the only thing to arrive from Asos. Where is everything else?? =( However I choose to believe that they will arrive sometime before the 20th, like they promised when we tweeted earlier this week. Couple of things that made me happy in this post. The fact that I can still fit into my size 0 leather pant. To own this Zara faux fur vest from a clearance sale a while back when one of my lover asked for a Fall ensemble. That my AA shirt is crazy versatile and I made it into a silk tail blouse (sorta) that I have been drooling over at NastyGal, saving me $188. Yes, I realize the tiniest thing can cheer me up.

The beadwork on this dress is stunning! The dress must weigh at least a whooping 6 to 7 pounds, it actually left some marks on my shoulders when I took them off (probably the reason why it was going for half it's price in Singapore's sale!)but it was definitely worth it. Well unfortunately, I can't go out looking like this, I'll most probably get arrested if I tried. Haha! I'll definitely go to a pool party in this or wear it on top of a slinky minidress but I couldn't wait that long to show this amazing piece to you lovers. Well, I improvised a little with some hair tie, I used them to shorten the dress by tying them up hence the draping hemline, which is perfect. xxx

'Tis the season to shop till you drop again! How can one resist this time of the year with all the massive sales and so I obliged to do my part, now I will have to patiently wait for the end of this month to come and toss out my credit card statement cause they will be unbearable to look at. So, I bought some new skirts (more maxi!), shoes, more rings and some random stuff that I probably don't need, which I will share when they arrive (Yea, damn you online shopping... Last night, my love & I went to see Harry Potter 7 pt1, it's becoming a ritual for us to see Harry Potter in Gold Class with some beer and Fish&Chips, every year (except that one time when it got postponed to a later date) we look forward to it! And we agrees that's this is right way to really enjoy a movie. Yup, I'm a big child who loves her Harry Potter more than anything else, well he is more of a LOTR guy but I win. =) and oh my! It scares me to see how much the three of them has grown and Hermione, wow! She is one big extremely beautiful girl now! Seeing them only reminds me of how much older I have gotten, it's sad! Okay, nuff of my sob stories... To everyone who loves HP as much as I do and have yet to see the movie, GO SEE IT! It's SUPERB!! I can't wait for the Pt2! Ciao! xxx

P.S. So I caved and ordered myself another pair of Lita fur in white(Yea... it's furry and white), initally I wanted the black one but it was sold out and I couldn't wait any longer. So, the shorts and shades are two of my new babies from Bali and am I glad to return to the quote saying "Leopard print is the new black"! Hooray to that! It will allow me to lounge around in style with this barely there leopard print silk shorts, recently I've gotten very lazy so this baby is perfect cause they are super soft and light, it's nothing, really! The shades, oh the shades.. I don't need them but they just look so bad, I got them anyway. You might be surprise cause I'll have to say, Bali has some pretty amazing style, me and my sisters agreed that some of the store over there actually carries better clothes with more style than what we have here in KL, which can only mean one thing, shopping spree!! I manage to grab quite a bit for a beach vacation and if you are wondering, no.. They are not cheap cause everything is in USD and most are non-negotiable, but totally worth it..! Can't wait to share them with you! xxx

P.S. And I'm planning to buy more litas... But do I really need more shoes? Argh.. The dilemma!

These are some pictures I took shortly before my Bali trip. It was a new hair do which only lasted a couple of days cause the color is not exactly chlorine friendly, but it was fun while it lasted, prolly will do it again when my hair roots get stronger. I bring horrible news. A couple of days ago our guard dog, Rocky & a 25 yrs old bird(sounds ridiculous, but true) passed away. Everyone cried and buried them together so they can still accompany one another wherever they are at. The title is dedicated to them, they will forever be missed & remembered.

I did it again! This time I blame it on the poster hovering over the counter in Pavilion Topshop, taunting and daring me to make this shorts. Time to break some rules by putting together an outfit that is far from the "must-wear" fall color palette. Guess I'm getting a little tired of looking at all the different shades of camel and tan tones.

Age is overrated, they're just a couple of digits but seriously it's a whole different story when you know that you'll no longer be checking the "18 to 25" but the "26 to 31" age group, it's sucks! Please don't mind the 3rd picture, I know it's lame and posey too but it's the only one of my front profile. So, it's been gloomy these past couple of days, waking up to the sound of rain has been hell for me. However, I did jumped at this opportunity to create my Fall-ish ensemble(fyi, we only have summer throughout the year), so I braved the heat and layered knits over a shirt, which is totally enough to cause one to have a heatstroke on normal days. And oh yes, I've been on a bit of a shoe craze lately and this is my new pair of Wisteria, unbelievably comfortable despite it's height. Now I will just have to wait to be united with my JC Lita which has already arrived in Singapore awaiting for me to pick them up! So close yet so far...! But I am excited... Weee!!

So, the pros and cons of blogging, you tend to notice ALOT of changes in yourself after comparing old posts to new ones. Things I notice, I look less stiff compared to before, my photog is getting way better at this whole thing(much love), my hair is longer(wanna grow them out, I'm considering her hair do in platinum blonde or gray.) and oh boy, I am seriously getting thicker, look at this post where I am wearing the exact same top. Someone say barrel? Yikes, dear god! Why would you make delicious food and punish us after for indulging them! Now, I am sorta relieve our hols season is finally over, hols give me plenty of time to cook which eventually leads to gluttony. Need.To.Stick.To.Strict.Diet.Regime. This is a very old bag with some tacky gold handle adorned with gold gemstone which totally needs some nip/tuck before I can use it again, not gonna throw away a perfectly good bag especially when it's not faux fur, it's actually rabbit fur! Cruel, I know! But how can you say no to soft fluffy thing! Besides, leopard bags are gonna be huge this fall, so why not improvise and make myself an oversize clutch. It's a can be a little clumsy cause of the size and it's super soft, but it's worth it. Now all I need is a sturdy leather strap to turn it into a shoulder bag. xxx

Over the weekend I came up with a couple of DIYs (whilst catching up on all the latest and juiciest NYFW updates from Twitter) to put up in my blogshop(Sorry for the uber delay but the freaking credit card is taking too damn long to come through, farking bank, heard of efficiency??) btw, this headband is one of it. I fell in love with the long feather but realize it would be an inconvenience to wear as earring, so this is what I came up with, it still hang from behind one ear and looks like an earring, meh.. you get the idea. =)

This floppy hat is my latest buy, it's made for me cause it's smaller than the usual floppy hats you see and cause of my small frame most floppy hats are too huge for me, so now that I own this, I'm gonna live in it for a while(Great cover up cause I'm trying to grow out my hair and it's everywhere... really!). With all the hypes on Twitterville for NYFW, it's getting me really pumped up too hence having the urge to pack my clothes and hop onto the next cab to the airport for nothing... I may be a little obsessed with my mum's wardrobe but seriously it is a lot of fun getting creative with oversize clothing to create something unexpected. Like this top, I love how the back drapes when I am sitting down, makes a gorgeous bareback top. So, this is the new shoe I mentioned in the earlier post, my very first Charles & Keith. Seeing how I usually go to Topshop, Aldo and recently Solestruck to score a 5' fix, I've decided to give other more economical brands a try cause it seems like they've finally figured out what "high" in high heel stands for, yes.. It's exactly what it says, high and not some 3', so kudos! This is also perfect cause I am broke and needed a pair of neutral tone shoe, so considering the price I would say it's a good buy. I did make some changes on them tho, which will be in my next post. xxx

With everyone listing down their must-have Fall staples. I notice sequins are (if ever really gone) making another comeback. So, this is what I paired it with to dress it down a notch, a linen tunic. Seeing how there is no way in hell for me to wear shearling jackets or heavy knits, I will have to improvise with what I can wear and has! By the way, I just received news from Solestruck that my Lita's has finally arrived and ready to be shipped on Tuesday...YAY!! All the outfits I have in mind to wear with it! But at the meantime to keep myself happy, I bought a new pair of shoes, yes I may be very broke and no it's never wrong to splurge on something cheap. Which I will wear in the next post. I am back and feels lazier than ever! Whatever happened to feeling rejuvenated after a break... So, this sheer top is the perfect example of 'one man's trash is another man's treasure', my mum was about to toss it out and I came to it's rescue! Ahh... My obsession with sheer clothing these days, because it has been incredibly hot, too hot for me to wear normal clothing... So mesh it is! These Topshop leather pants are on sale, they were slashed by more than half it's price! Sometime, it's lucky to be tiny, so if you are a size 0. GO get them, cause they are extremely comfy and they adds a twist to a plain boring outfits! Definitely a must-have staple..
Ok and I lied about making more DIYs, I have all these ideas, my brain's been doing a lot of thinking but my fingers are just too fat and lazy. *Slaps bad fingers* Fyi, I am going to apply for my credit card later this evening. Finally, I know! xxx

So how did all you lovers spent your weekend? Well, I spent mine with Glee and the S1 Ep1 of Ugly Betty(Doing a little Ugly Betty rerun of my own). I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but I'm a series freak, I literally breath them, they are my weekend food along with plenty of wine and other wine snacks. However, I am very particular with what I see, I don't do girly series like Gossip girls, 90210, The Hills & others that falls into that category(Sorry if I offended anyone by calling them girly series, but I simply can't handle all the drama). Well, I learnt to watch Glee(Just so I can stay young and hip... Yea, I said it, HIP! hahaha)and it's starting to grow on me. But seriously, am I alone in thinking Rachel's voice is extremely annoying? And what is up with Finn's nose when he performs? Why does he do that to his face? He really needs to relax. As for the rest of the crew, I love all of them to death! Maybe I am a girly girl afterall.. xxx

The skirt is another A.Wang inspired piece, ever since seeing Abbey Lee in the resort10 lookbook, I knew I had to recreate the look. (A.Wang, you must really hate me now but just so you know, I'm only inspired by THE best!) However, this skirt isn't really practical, the opening in the middle kept riding up higher and higher as I walk, note to self, I will have to secure it the next time with a tape or sew it together to prevent flashing my hoo-ha. So, this shades are another one of my awesome find, they are extremely adorable cause you can actually lift up the top tinted lens when you are indoor, cause the tinting on the shades are very dark and when I say very dark I meant being literally blind when I was indoor, so it can be very dangerous for one who wears killer heels.
Being the horrible procrastinator that I am, I failed myself again! I wasted my whole weekend indulging in wine, chocolate, lots of meat and Nip/Tuck... No DIY nor starting of my blogshop. Boohoo to me, lazy - 12390983, me- 0! Sigh! I hope, no... I will start my DIYs very soon in order to post some stuff up for sale in my blogshop! Sorry to be such a disappointment to those looking forward to my shop! xxx

Hey lovers, so this shades are another one of my awesome find, I'm sure many of you were once or (like myself) still is caught in the whole A.Wang cat eye glasses frenzy, I knew I had to get my hands on a pair but sadly my wallet wouldn't allow. So, when my boyfriend found this identical replica, I jumped at it and bought myself two pairs, a gold and a black. They are stunning, won't you agree? I'm so sorry A.Wang, I love you dearly and all that, but apparently you don't love me nor my wallet back.
Then it got me thinking, why not share this goodies with my lovers, so I will be putting these babies up for sale in my blogshop (When & if I ever get off my procrastinating bum and get the shop going.. Sorry, bad bad blogger!). As for why I named this post "Art of Illusion", is because I can reassure you lovers, I am not as tall as I look in this particular post nor have I edited the pictures to show that hour glass figure as seen in one of the photo. Perhaps it's my photog who is getting better at my angles. Anyhow, it's all an illusion. Have a great weekend! xxx

It was another hot as hell day, so I opt for something casual and I needed my hair off my face and neck. Crazy arse weather these days, either too much rain or the sun's trying to cook us alive! I still have to look my best regardless, so I spice it up with my feathers earring. I know I'm due for more feather DIY cause I have all these materials which I'm just sitting on! Maybe this weekend I'll do a hairband or necklace even! We'll see... To all you DIYers out there, tips on how to not be lazy??
By the way, I'm thinking of starting a blogshop soonish. Will be selling some DIY items and some stuff I like(Like an A.Wang knock off & round vintage shades I recently bought) , maybe even some thrifty! So stay tuned! This is a wonderful place my photog discovered, which screams for photos overload hence 9 freaking pictures in one post, but it's beautiful, don't you agree?? =)
So, this was what I wore last weekend for a rather crazy night out on the town. I don't really enjoy partying too much anymore cause hangovers just ain't worth it! However I tend to always, never failing to enjoy a little too much every single time and regretting the following day when I'm puking my guts out. A very vicious cycle, I tell you. So, how did the rest of you lovers spent your weekend? I hope it was a blast! xxx

P.S. Oh yes! I re-did my hair last Friday! This time a darker shade of gray compared to my previous color.
